Edge computing and edge AI

In today’s intelligent information age, edge computing and Edge AI have become an important trend leading the development of science and technology. Edge computing aims to transfer data processing and analysis functions from traditional cloud computing centers to edge devices closer to data sources to achieve lower latency and more efficient data processing. Edge artificial intelligence refers to the artificial intelligence algorithms and models that run on edge devices, enabling devices to intelligently perceive, understand, and make decisions. The research in this field aims to explore how to combine edge computing with artificial intelligence to solve various challenges in real applications. Typical application scenarios include intelligent Internet of Things, intelligent transportation, intelligent healthcare, smart home, embodied intelligence, etc.

The research focus of this project includes edge intelligent architecture for cloud edge collaboration, segmentation calculation based on semantic communication, dynamic neural networks for extremely weak devices, continuous learning algorithms for devices, multi end consistent runtime and scheduling algorithms for edge computing power networks, etc.
